Role Overview

• Role: Circulating RN
• Unit: Operating Room (Operating Room 7010 is omitted; see note below)
• Shift: 8 or 10 hours, Monday through Friday, plus call
• Weekend Hours: On call
• Call Requirements: 4-6 weekdays per month; every 3rd weekend (subject to change)
• Unit Size: 6 ORs
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: Standard OR equipment plus a DaVinci Xi Robot
• Patient Population: All except children under 1 year
• Specialties: Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, DaVinci, ENT, Pediatric Dentistry
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Abdominal, GYN, laparoscopic, fractures, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• 2 years of OR circulating experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
