- Operating Room Nurse (2 years)
Description
Shift: 12H Days, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Additional Requirement: On-call required
On-Call Schedule: Typically 3–4 weeknights and 1 weekend call shift within 6 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Facility & Department Details
Hospital Type: Community-owned, not-for-profit hospital
Department: Operating Room
OR Suites: 4, plus additional rooms for minor procedures
Department Environment: Staff work well together and with surgeons.
Experience Requirements
Required OR Experience: 3–4 years as an OR RN
Prior Travel Experience: Required
Total Joint Experience: Must be very comfortable with total joint cases
Orthopedic Experience: Must be proficient in orthopedic cases
Scrubbing and Circulating: Experience with both required
The RN will circulate cases involving:
- OB/GYN, including C-sections
- Orthopedics
- General surgery
- Urology
- ENT
