We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a night-shift assignment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while assuming responsibility for a designated group of patients during each shift.

The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process, clinical judgment, current nursing practices, and available resources to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and ensure positive patient outcomes.

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and perform all duties required within the assigned unit and scope of practice.
• Apply appropriate nursing procedures, clinical practices, and evidence-based interventions.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation of all nursing care provided.
• Perform initial patient assessments upon admission.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Promote patient and employee safety by identifying, reporting, and addressing potential hazards or incidents.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with colleagues to support professional development.
• Identify learning needs and pursue ongoing professional growth.
• Maintain all required departmental competencies and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
