Description

RN Labor & Delivery / OB

Position: RN - OB / Labor & Delivery
Location: Picayune, Mississippi (Highland Community Hospital)
Shift: 12 Hour Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Schedule: 36/48-hour rotation or Straight 48 Hours/Week, Every Other Weekend Required
EMR: Epic (Required)

Requirements:

Active Mississippi RN License
Minimum 2 Years of Nursing Experience
Recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience
Epic experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required
PALS preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn periods
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to emergencies
Operate fetal monitors, telemetry monitoring, epidural pumps, IV pumps, and other L&D equipment
Assist with deliveries and obstetric emergencies including hemorrhage, hypertensive crisis, and shoulder dystocia
Support breastfeeding education and mother-baby couplet care
Document patient care accurately in Epic
