🏥 Travel Certified Surgical Technologist – Mason City, IA

13-Week Contract | Day Shift

Join the surgical team in Mason City!

Schedule & Call Requirements:

Regular shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
1–2 late shifts per week: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM
Every 4th weekend on-call
Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.
Anticipate surgical team needs and ensure instruments and supplies are readily available.
Handle instruments and specimens according to facility protocols.

Requirements:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
Previous operating room/surgical tech experience.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and aseptic practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
