GLC Government Services is seeking ICU Pharmacists for a government contract at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• No weekend or holiday shifts unless scheduled for on-call coverage
• On-call rotation: Every other week for after-hours ICU support

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory
• PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited program
• Current BLS certification
• PGY1 residency required
• PGY2 residency preferred, but not required
• ICU pharmacy experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and monitor medication therapy plans
• Review medication orders for safety, effectiveness, interactions, and appropriate dosing
• Participate in ICU rounds and provide clinical pharmacy recommendations
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication therapy
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and recommend adjustments as needed
• Support investigational drug studies and clinical research activities
• Serve as a pharmacy resource and consultant for healthcare teams and committees
• Prepare reports and communicate significant findings as required
