Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Free-Standing Emergency Department

Facility: Ogden Regional Medical Center
Location: Ogden, UT
Department: ER Lab – Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED)
Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Projected Start Date: 11/30/2026
Shift: Nights
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience.
Recent clinical laboratory experience required.
Experience with Point-of-Care (POC) testing preferred.
Ability to perform laboratory testing in a Free-Standing Emergency Department.
Willingness to perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and the Lab Director.

Pay Breakdown
Weekly Gross: $1,987
Stipend Weekly: $1,267
W2 Weekly: $720

Certifications & Qualifications Required

ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT), or equivalent.
Full MLS qualification required.
Associate-level qualification is not accepted.
Must meet applicable Utah laboratory licensing requirements.
