Facility: Three Rivers Health Medical Center
Position Description: Facility Name: Three Rivers Health - Beacon. Total # of Facility Beds: 12-bed unit. Unit Name/Cost Center: Inpatient Rehab - 1511. Unit Specialty: Subacute Rehab. Total Float Units: 1 - Med-Surg. Teaching Facility: No. Teaching Hospital Experience Required: No. Trauma Level: No. Prior Travel Experience Required: No. Minimum # Years Clinical Experience Required: 1-2 years. Minimum # Years Clinical Experience in Specialty Required: Flexible. Certifications Required: MI Nursing License, BLS. CNA/PCT: Yes. Unit Clerk/Secretary: No. Staff per shift: Minimum 1 RN and 1 CNA all shifts; approx. 5 therapists on day shift. Other: Med-Surg Unit 1 RN: 5-6 patients. Advanced Practice on the unit: Advanced Practice at night, in-house. Patient Care Modality: Inpatient Care. Scrubs/Color: Royal Blue or White. Shoes: Closed toe/heel. Jewelry: Must be safe and not interfere with infection prevention. Limit number of rings worn, dangly earrings, and necklaces. Follow dress code policy. Hair/Beard: Long hair pulled back and secured when providing direct patient care. Facial hair must not interfere with PPE. Follow dress code policy. Nail Polish: Fingernails should be clean and neatly manicured. Artificial nails cannot be worn by staff in direct patient care roles. Documentation System: Cerner. Medication System: Pyxis. Shift Hours: 7a-7p, every other weekend. Patient Population (Diagnoses): CVA, Amputation, Spinal Cord Injuries, MVA, Hip Fx, etc. Age Range: 18 . Special Equipment: Hoyer Lift, Sit-to-Stand. Unit-Specific Procedures and Protocols: Patients receive 3 hours of therapy daily (PT, OT, SLP).
