Position Overview

Valley View is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join its growing breast imaging team. Due to an increase in patient volume and the addition of a second breast surgeon, the facility is expanding staffing across multiple mammography rooms.

The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and follow established clinical standards and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Position patients appropriately and obtain high-quality breast images.
• Operate mammography equipment according to established protocols.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Ensure accurate imaging documentation and follow department procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of current mammography experience.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification; card must be available before the start date.
• Current flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions.
• Permanent residence must be at least 75 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stereotactic breast procedures.
• Experience with needle localization.
• DEXA experience is a plus.
