Position Overview

KCH is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care to adult patients in a hospital-based MS/Tele unit.

The RN will care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions while monitoring cardiac rhythms and identifying changes in patients' clinical status. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing general medical-surgical patient needs as well as providing telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Provide nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormal telemetry readings.
• Care for patients recovering from surgery and managing acute medical conditions.
• Monitor patients for changes in clinical and cardiac status.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital safety protocols.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts.
• Day shift: 7 AM – 7 PM.
• Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM.
• Shift assignment will depend on the needs of the department.
