Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: North Providence, RI
Specialty: Emergency Room
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
 

Requirements

• 4 years of ER experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Travel experience required.
• Active Rhode Island RN license required before starting (pending RI license accepted at submission).
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required.
• Equivalent certification may be accepted in place of CPI/PALS as specified by the facility.
• Meditech documentation experience required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Charge experience preferred.

Clinical Skills

• Emergency care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• General medical and behavioral health emergency care.
• Patient triage and emergency response.
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
• Cardiac monitoring, EKGs, and dysrhythmia management.
• Respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patient care.
• Management of psychiatric emergencies, overdose, suicidal patients, and violent behavior.
• Procedural sedation and emergency medication administration.
