Description
OR Tech / Surgical Tech – Day/Evening Rotating
Schedule: Monday–Friday, rotating day/evening shifts between 0630–2300. Combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Call and weekends as needed. Four 10-hour shifts are not guaranteed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Circulating and scrubbing experience required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Highly proficient in robotic, neurosurgical, thoracic, and ENT procedures.
Required Experience
Experience across multiple surgical specialties, including:
- ENT/Plastics (flaps and microvascular)
- Endoscopic procedures (Bronchoscopy, EGD, EBUS, LS)
- Neuro (Craniotomy, EEA, Skull Base)
- Thoracic and Robotic Surgery
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative support.
- Assist with circulating and scrubbing across multiple surgical services.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, optimal patient outcomes.
- Be prepared to scrub a variety of specialties, including Surgical Oncology, Thoracic, Colorectal, Urology, GYN Oncology, Head & Neck/ENT, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics/Reconstructive, and Robotics.
