Location: Long Beach, California Employment type: Travel/Contract Start date: ASAP Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit: General Peds Unit
Float scope: Peds Hem/Oncology, NICU, PICU
Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:30 (36 hours/week)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (12 shifts). Day shifts on Saturday and Sunday, night shifts on Friday and Saturday.
On call: Not required
Documentation system: EPIC
Time off: Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager and must be included at submission.
Local candidates: Candidates within 50 miles of the facility should be flagged at submission.
First-time travelers: Not accepted

Valid RN license in California
2 years of Pediatric Med Surg experience, including experience within the last year (pediatrics experience)
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association (AHA Provider, Instructor, and RQI accepted)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association (AHA Provider, Instructor, and RQI accepted)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
