Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience), with PCU experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience with Epic

Schedule and Assignment

Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 to 07:15)
Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
Ratio: 1:4 on all shifts
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Unit: Mixed-unit PCU. Med Surg Telemetry and Med Surg travelers will have all levels.
Schedule changes: Subject to staffing needs, with two weeks' notice from the facility.
Return-to-office restriction: Greater than 7 days requires management approval.
Scrubs: Navy blue

Patient Population

Age group: Adults and geriatrics
Diagnoses: Trauma, multi-system failure, orthopedic, GI

Float Scope

Floating within the service line and to other facilities in the system as needed
Float units: Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surgery, Uro/Vascular, Observation

Work Terms

Not open to block schedules
Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.
Pending licenses are not accepted.
