Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN in Columbia, Missouri
• 21-bed adult med/surg unit
• Float scope: Medical Surgical Floors
• Patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, Diabetes, Renal Failure, Hip fractures, Sepsis, and Pneumonia

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 to 19:30
• 36 or 48 hour contracts available
• Rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and inclement weather coverage may be required
• Ability to take call is required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Expectations

• Must be able to work the assigned location throughout the full contract
• Must be able to work the substantial time of the assigned shift
• Must be able to work assigned weekends
• Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
• Role involves ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
