Pediatric Inpatient Oncology RN

Overview

• Location: Madera, California
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 12/1 preferred; start dates into January may be accommodated
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night (3 x 11.5 hours), 19:00 to 07:30

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Pediatric Hematology / Oncology experience of 2 years, including experience within the last year
• Oncology experience, including Pediatric Hematology / Oncology
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Background Checks

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, covering all counties lived or worked
• Sex offender registry check within 30 days of start
• Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start

Onboarding and Facility Documents

• Two professional references required. Charge RN or above preferred.
• Review and sign the orientation guide and acknowledgement, and complete the orientation guide post-test before start
• Sign the confidentiality agreement
• Complete the non-employee personal information sheet
• Review the medication test study guide, dress and grooming standards, harassment-free workplace policy, IT acceptable use policy, and parking information
