Overview

• Per diem ER RN assignment in Fountain Valley, California
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 19:00 to 07:30, 1x12 hours
• Orientation is not provided
• Clinician must be able to start working independently and integrate quickly
• Pre-start modules: 8 hours
• Navy blue scrubs

Work Setting

• Pediatric Emergency Department
• STEMI Certified Facility
• Stroke Certified Facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a staff ER RN or 2 years as a travel ER RN
• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• NIH
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisor, within the last 12 months
• Epic experience

Preferred Qualifications

• MAB/CPI

Additional Notes

• Candidates with 2 or more attendance/performance issues or clinician pipeline cancellations may need additional references or a written statement showing improvement before proceeding
• There must be a minimum of 6 months between the last issue and the submission date
• Previous staff/travel clinicians are subject to a 18-month separation period and require facility approval
• Cancellation rule: may be removed from the pool if they cancel 2 shifts within 24 hours of shift start time in a 30-day period
