Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

BLS: AHA preferred
ACLS: AHA preferred

Additional Assignment Details

NBO: 16 hrs
EMR: EPIC
OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
On Call: $9/hr
Charge/Precept: $6/hr
Billable OT: 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40; 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48
Employee separation policy applies to past UPH employees as stated in the source
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
Orientation dates: 11/23, 12/7, 12/21
Winter holidays: traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and may request only 1 day off between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
