RN - CVOR

Location: Golden, Colorado Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 0645-1715, 40 hours per week, no set day off Employment Type: Clinical Nursing

Role Summary

Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under state Board of Nursing standards.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, and performs health teaching and counseling.
Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Setting and Scope

CVOR RN works in the CVOR and/or main ORs.
Requires 21 CVOR call shifts in a 9-week schedule.
May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience.
CVOR experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
