Facility Overview

• 86-bed acute care hospital
• Five major service lines, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine

Unit Details

• Unit: OR, 1st floor
• Operating rooms: 7 OR rooms
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: Hana table, trauma table, Enseal, MyoSure, NovaSure, Kabtec, Neoprobe

Schedule

• Shifts: 10-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
• Weekends: Not required
• Call: Yes. A designated call team exists, and call is only to cover their PTO days. Occasional call coverage is required for the dedicated call RNs.
• Orientation schedule: November 2 and 16 through December 7, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience working with adult patients
• C-section experience
• General surgery experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Urology experience
• OB/GYN experience
• ENT surgery experience
• Pain management experience
• Pediatric dental experience
