Overview

• Travel RN position in Reno, Nevada

• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nevada
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit / Patient Population

• Patient population includes CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU
• Medications include non-titratable cardiac medication drips such as Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro

Float / Scheduling Notes

• May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medically appropriate assignment, medical surgical units, and Renown Regional
• Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Low-census call-off may occur up to 48 hours without penalty per 13-week contract
