RN CVICU-Peds Critical Care Float Traveler
Location: Austin, Texas Employment Type: Long-term assignment (LTA) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Unit: Critical Care Float Pool
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Critical Care Float experience (2 years), with experience within the last year.
- CVICU experience.
- PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care) experience.
- NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Valid driver's license.
