Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Inpatient Days - Sioux City, IA

• Orientation dates: 11/9, 11/23, 12/7, 12/21
• Facility note: Level 3 Trauma Center

Role Summary

The traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills as a member of the interdisciplinary team, in the provision and management of patient care. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. First-time travelers are welcome.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Iowa
• BLS certification issued by American Red Cross or US Military
• Valid driver's license

Other Requirements

• Local radius: No local candidates. All candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license address.
• EMR: Epic (software familiarity)
• Scrub color: Dark grey/charcoal

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Winter holidays: Traveler must work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day).
• Time-off limit: One day-off request allowed between 11/25-11/29 and between 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.
• Former employees: Past employees of the organization's float pool (FTE or PRN) cannot take travel assignments in another market, regardless of facility, for 12 months. This does not apply to anyone who previously worked travel assignments with the organization.
