Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Monroe, Louisiana
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Average daily census: 10

Unit Details

• Unit staff works both NICU and Newborn Nursery
• Traveler may attend high-risk deliveries, conduct car seat testing, and handle newborn diagnoses for NICU and Wellbaby
• Floating: occasionally to postpartum/peds
• Weekends: every other, with 2–4 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Unit accepts first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Additional Expectations

• Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team as directed by the unit manager
