ICU RN

Overview

  • Travel RN position in ICU
  • 36 hours per week
  • Day shift, 7a-7p
  • Every other weekend
  • 1 opening
  • 4-bed ICU
  • Patient ratio: 1:2
  • Float scope: Med Surg and telemetry
  • May occasionally be offered call

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with ventilator management
  • Experience with immediate post-operative care

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of critical care experience
  • CCRN
  • PACU experience

Unit / Role Details

  • Must have ICU / critical care experience
  • Experience with assistance with intubation and vent management
  • Experience with care coordination
  • Experience managing critically ill / unstable patients
  • Occasional off-hours recovery (PACU care)
  • Patient population is >18 years old
