Overview

• 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (1st floor unit)
• Patients are adults and geriatric rehab patients
• Common diagnoses: neurological, orthopedic, and cancer
• Programs include neurological rehab, spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, amputation, and orthopedics
• Number of openings: 1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience, obtained within the last year
• BLS certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience in an inpatient rehab setting
• Med Surg experience
• Experience with Cerner EHR

Software Familiarity (not a credential)

• Cerner EHR experience is needed
• Omnicell

Schedule

• Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• On-call: not required
• Float: not required. Nursing units span 2 floors, and the candidate will be scheduled on either floor.

Unit Information

• Patient ratios: 6-7:1 RN/LPN, CNA 10:1
• Desired personality fit: team player, adaptable, flexible

First Day

• Scrub color: navy blue
• Report time: 06:45 or 18:45
• Parking: side of the building
