Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN position in Lakewood, California
• Emergency RN
• Primary shift is nights; may occasionally be asked to work a mid shift
• 13-week contract
• 1:4 patient ratio

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12 hours
• 18:00–06:30

Additional Notes

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
• Signed HIPAA acknowledgement required
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
• N95 fit testing required within 1 year of start and must be renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 1 year of start
• Hepatitis B series or declination required
• Flu vaccination required by 12/5; declinations accepted
• 2 references required within 1 year of start in the current specialty
