6/1 ratio
12-hour night shifts
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Every other weekend required
Holidays are required
Scheduling is by manager; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Must work the schedule given

Unit / Patient Population

Med/surg tele unit
Common patient types include CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, and m/s tele
PCTs are present at 12/1
Tele monitor techs monitor patients, and RNs must be able to read strips
CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients
Unit orientation is completed

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
Great communication
Time management

Floating

Floats to all med/surg units
