RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Kettering, Ohio Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• NIHSS
• Driver's license or state ID (required by onboarding)

Onboarding Requirements

Health and immunizations:

• MMR
• Hepatitis B
• Influenza vaccine
• Varicella
• TB test
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Physical/health statement
• Drug screen

Background and verification:

• Criminal background check: 7-year county criminal search, SSN trace, and national criminal database search within 12 months prior to start date. A state instant background check is accepted if county results are delayed by courthouse closures or response times.
• State and national sex offender registry checks (national check within 30 days prior to start)
• OIG check (within 30 days prior to start)
• GSA check (within 30 days prior to start)
• SAM check
• Education verification (third-party verification preferred; diploma or transcripts requested if unavailable)
• Employment verification
• Professional reference #1, which must contain a personal statement from the reference

• Client forms

Float Scope

• RNs float only to antepartum.
• Rarely floats to mom-baby to care for postpartum moms.
