Unit

• 6 North
• General medical-surgical and oncology/hematology unit with telemetry capability
• 36 private rooms total: 18 medical-surgical and 18 oncology rooms
• Cares for young adult through geriatric oncology and hematology patients
• May also receive general medical/surgical overflow patients

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• State license verification required
• NURSYS verification required for RN
• Drivers License/State ID
• E-Verify
• 7 Year Background Check within 1 year of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Education Verification
• Photo for badge
• Physical Exam within 12 months of start
• Fit Test within 1 year of start
• Adult TDAP Vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
• TB Questionnaire within 90 days of start for positive results
• Rubeola documentation
• Mumps documentation
• Rubella documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Complete Application/Resume
