PCU RN Travel/Contract

Overview

Location: Bristol, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
Schedule options: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48
Every other weekend; rotating holidays
No on-call
Floating to other units is required
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
First-time travelers accepted
Live 100 miles from the facility
NURSYS Verification
State License 1 Verification
Competency Exam
Color Blind Testing Online
Skills Checklist 1
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam is required for PCU
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM
HHS/OIG
Education Verification
Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry, if licensed or certified in TN or working at a TN facility
Physical Exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
MMR titers for Rubeola, Mumps, and Rubella
Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
Varicella titer
Standard 9 Panel Drug Screen within 14 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season

16 hours of nonbillable orientation
