Role Overview

Certified Surgical Technologist position in the Operating Room
Unit has 8 rooms and serves adult and geriatric patients
Orientation is approximately 8 hours
Charting system: Epic
Scrubs are provided by the facility (blue)

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours, 11:00 to 18:30 (40 hours per week)
Block scheduling accepted
No specific weekend requirement indicated
On-call coverage required; specific call hours and rotation not listed
Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests permitted per contract
No floating requirement indicated

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
2 years of Certified Surgical Technologist experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Vascular surgery experience, including carotid procedures, AV fistula repair, endovascular aneurysm repair, and femoral-popliteal bypass
Experience working with General Surgery patients, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic procedures, liver resection, and mastectomy
Experience working with Neuro patients
Experience working with Spine patients
Experience working with Podiatry patients
Experience working with GYN patients
Experience working with Orthopedics patients
Experience with robotic surgery

Training

Approximately 6 hours of facility modules, completed before orientation
