RRT – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night (4x12 hours), 19:00 to 07:30 Hours: 12 per day, 48 per week Floating: May float between several facilities in the health system.

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend required. Before submission, the traveler must provide written confirmation that they are comfortable with this requirement.
• All travelers must work two of the three paired holidays:

  • 11/27 and 11/28
  • 12/24 and 12/25
  • 12/31 and 1/1
• First-time travelers accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (1.5 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI

Additional Certifications (Depending on Cost Center)

• PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, and NIH Stroke certification may be required. Requirements are confirmed by the cost center for each position.

Not Required for RRTs

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam.

Preferred

• Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap is preferred but not required. Vaccination at age 11 or older is highly preferred.
