Registered Nurse - ICU
Assignment Overview
- Location: San Leandro, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 to 23:30)
- Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Other information: EEG in unit
- First-time travelers: Accepted
Float Scope
- Float to med/surg telemetry as needed: PCU (1:3 ratio) and Telemetry (1:4 ratio)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience: 1 year, including experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience working with neuro patients
- Experience with Impella
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with GI surgery
- Experience with PICC lines
- Experience with arterial lines
- Experience with central line management
- Experience with Epic
