Overview
- Travel/contract role in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- On-call required on weekdays and weekends
- Local candidates within 60 miles are considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 2 years of experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Cardiac Cath Level I Trauma experience
- Ability to circulate and scrub in the Cath Lab
- Administration and monitoring of procedural sedation
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
- Experience with Epic
Skills / Clinical Experience
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Diagnostic right and left heart cath
- Interventional cath
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Pulmonary artery line / Swan Ganz monitoring
- Scrubbing is preferred
Compliance / Screening
- Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening with fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and disqualifying offense screening
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify documentation
- Proof of name change if applicable
- Background check within 6 months of start
- Education verification
- Transcript or diploma may be accepted if education verification cannot be verified
- Physical exam within 6 months of start
- Annual fit test
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- 2 professional references
- Annual skills checklist
