RN MedSurg/Tele

Location: Paducah, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Overview

RN role on a MedSurg/Tele unit providing direct patient care, assessments, treatments, discharge coordination, patient/family education, and collaboration with the care team.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous nursing experience.
• BSN.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and interventions.
• Provide and document ongoing nursing care, treatments, and procedures.
• Educate patients and families.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities.
