Assignment details

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekends as needed
• First to float; may float midshift to different units and facilities as needed
• No call or standby
• No self-scheduling
• Safe parking available at all locations
• Radius rule: candidates must live outside 50 miles

Float scope

• ER
• ICU
• MedSurg
• Tele
• L&D/PP
• NICU
• May also float to any facility as a 1:1 sitter in any area

Required qualifications

• RN license
• 2 years of specialty experience
• Previous travel experience
• BLS
• ACLS for Tele and Critical Care
• NIHSS for Tele and Critical Care
• TNCC for ED

Preferred qualifications

• Antepartum experience
• Mother baby experience

Unit and patient care notes

• RN float pool across 3 facilities
• RNs float only within their specialty and will not float to a lower acuity
• Charge nurse on all units
• Nurse aide/patient care tech support is available
• ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU require tele/monitor techs to read and interpret rhythms
• Travelers are assigned their hospital and unit about 1 hour before shift start
• Orientation includes a meet-and-greet day 1 and 3 inpatient orientation shifts
