MLT Generalist (Lab Tech)

Location: Lufkin, Texas Employment Type: Travel Start: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Facility Size: 149 beds Scrubs: Red/black

Required Qualifications

Medical Lab Technician with 2+ years of experience
Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
MT/MLS (ASCP) or AMT Certification
Two-year associate-level degree
Experience in the blood bank
Experience on the hematology bench
Experience with urine studies
Experience with coagulation studies
Experience in serology
Experience on the chemistry bench
Experience on the microbiology bench
Experience as a generalist across lab benches

Assignment Details

No call, but may be asked to cover a shift
Floating required within the lab
Not a 48-hour arrangement
No block scheduling

Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
