RN - ICU

Location: Bullhead City, Arizona Employment Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: Night (1830 - 0700) Scrub Color: Black

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
  • ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
  • Experience with Impella

Role Details

  • Equipment and patient types: ventilators, balloon pumps, Impella
  • Patient ratios: ICU 2:1; 1-ICU 2 PCU 3:1; 3-PCU 3:1
  • May float as needed
  • Blocked schedule: considered
  • No on-call required
  • No option for 48-hour guarantee

Unit is traveler friendly . They appreciate all the help they can get.

Cons

Cost of living was rising before I left. ( to California prices) A lot of the time understaffed. Over worked
