Registered Nurse – ICU

Location: San Leandro, California Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12 hours (7:00 to 19:30); 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Weekends: Every other weekend Accepts First-Time Travelers: Yes

Float Scope

• Med/surg telemetry as needed: PCU (1:3 ratio) and Telemetry (1:4 ratio)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Critical Care Float experience of 1 year, with experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Certification)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience working with Neuro patients
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Impella experience
• IABP experience
• IV insulin protocols experience
• GI surgery experience
• PICC line experience
• Central line experience
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
• Experience with Epic

Onboarding Requirements

• Background check and education verification, completed within 90 days of start
• Oral saliva drug screen within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 90 days of start
• TB test (IGRA or 2 PPDs) and TB questionnaire
• Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations (or positive IgG titer) and 2 Varicella vaccinations (or positive IgG titer)
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• Fit test within 90 days of start
• Facility competencies and orientation modules due on the first day of the contract
• Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment
• Employment verification for the past 3 years
