Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Per Diem
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
EEG Techs are needed for per diem shifts with sporadic and limited needs. Orientation includes one day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) on the unit. Day and night shifts are available with some on-call requirements (shift example: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
Required Qualifications
- EEG Technologist experience within the last year (minimum 1 year of experience)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- ABRET certification (specific to EEG Techs)
- Experience working with NICU patients
- Experience working with PICU patients
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Long-term monitoring experience
Orientation and Competency Testing
- One-day orientation shift on unit
- Pass/fail EKG competency exam during orientation (if applicable)
- Medication competency exam required by profession
- Fire Card must be obtained through the facility within 6 months of starting
Background and Compliance
- 7-panel criminal background check within 6 months of start, updated annually
- Education verification of highest level completed
- Professional references: 2 required, at least 1 supervisory

- Modules and facility-specific documents must be completed prior to start
- Candidate photo required for badge (strict photo guidelines apply)
