RN Endoscopy

Location: Elmira, New York Employment Type: Long-term assignment (LTA) Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 17:00

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse provides patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN works within the standards of care and core values of the Division of Nursing, follows unit policies and procedures, and reports to the assigned Unit Director. Responsibilities include hourly rounding, documentation, patient and family education, staff development participation, and staffing flexibility.

Requirements

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Endoscopy experience of at least 2 years, with endoscopy experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Valid driver's license
