Resource RN

• Location: Fresno, California
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
• Teams: Team nursing for adults and geriatric patients
• Float scope: Must float between all three facilities for Tele, Med Surg, or ED inpatient hold levels of care. Schedule is given the day of, by facility and level of care.
• Positions listed: 1 Tele and 1 ED inpatient hold per listed site
• Orientation: 4 shifts total

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to work in California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Float experience (2 years of experience)
• Float experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Driver's license
• Resource experience

• Clinical skills checklist, completed within 1 year of start

Required Before Onboarding

• Immunizations and health: MMR (2 doses, positive IgG titer, or declination); Hepatitis B (3 doses, positive antibody titer, or declination); Varicella (2 doses, positive IgG titer, or declination); Tdap within 10 years (or declination); influenza vaccine October to March (medical or religious exemption possible); TB test within 30 days of start (negative result required; positive results need additional documentation); signed health statement within 1 year stating ability to work without restrictions
• Identification: Driver's license or state ID (passport accepted)
• Background and screening: Criminal background check within 30 days of start (updated every 3 years); OIG, EPLS, OFAC, and National Sex Offender searches within 30 days of start; California Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List check within 30 days of the first assignment; 9-panel drug screen minus THC within 30 days of start (rapid screen accepted)
• Forms and agreements: Confirmation of assignment, policy packet acknowledgment, dispute resolution agreement, confidentiality form, release of information form for patient portal access, attestation of no Do Not Rehire/Send record from the prior 3 years, badge photo

• COVID-19 vaccine (proof of vaccine plus 1 booster, or exemption)
• Fit test, completed onsite on start date
• Testing completed by the Friday before start
