Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment type: Temp
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 9 hours per day

Role Overview

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care.

Schedule and Holidays

Orientation dates: 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 12/28
Winter holidays: Travelers must work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day).
Time-off limit: Each traveler may request 1 day off between 11/25 and 11/29 and between 12/23 and 12/27.

Candidate Eligibility

Local radius: Local candidates are not accepted. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on their driver's license.
Employee separation policy: Former employees of the health system, whether FTE or PRN float pool, cannot work travel in another market for 12 months, regardless of facility. This does not apply to anyone who previously worked travel contracts at this facility.

EMR: Epic (software familiarity)

Requirements

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Interventional Radiology experience (3 years of experience), with experience within the last year
Experience in a hospital setting
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Valid driver's license
Experience with Epic
