Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- 16-week assignment
- Day or night shifts, 3x12 hours
- Adults and geriatrics
- Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units
- Variable weekends based on unit needs
- No set or blocked scheduling
Key Clinical Focus
- Med-surg oncology care for solid tumor cancer patients across the treatment journey
- Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancer, plus encounters for antineoplastic chemotherapy
- Strong emphasis on infection prevention and fall prevention
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology experience
Preferred
- ONS Chemo
- Prior travel experience preferred
