Registered Nurse – Infusion

Location: Santa Rosa, California Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 16 weeks Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8.5 hours (listed as 7:30 7:30)

Role Overview

Conducts patient and family assessments covering physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Coordinates daily patient care plans with physicians and the healthcare team, and communicates plans across shifts and departments.
Delegates tasks based on scope of practice, licensure, and individual capability.
Performs ongoing patient and family education using teach-back, and documents and reassesses responses to the plan of care.
Verifies competency of newly hired and student staff, and serves as a clinical resource and mentor for new staff.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Infusion experience (2 years).
Infusion experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred for RN positions).
