Overview
- Travel RN role in ICU / CCU (653)
- Location: Plano, Texas
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
- Shift: days/nights
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Weekend and call requirements are discussed during the interview
- Floating: as needed
- Scheduling: every other weekend
Unit Details
- Unit has 36 CCU beds and 30 Burn Trauma ICU beds
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Staffing includes a supervisor on every shift and PCT support
- Procedures performed on the unit include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- MEDITECH experience
- TNCC
- CCRN
- TCRN
