RN First Assist (CVOR)

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Unit Details

• Unit: CV Operating Room
• Beds/Rooms: 12 OR (2 CVOR)
• Level of Care: Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Staffing: 4 RNs per OR suite (2 circulators, 1 scrub RN, 1 RNFA)
• OR Schedule: Staffed 24/7
• Floating: No floating
• Equipment: OR equipment
• Patient Experience: Hourly updates to family members
• Dress Code: Hospital provides scrubs

Procedures Performed

• CABG
• Valve replacement
• Minimally invasive valve replacement
• Dissections
• Thoracic procedures
• Vascular procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVOR First Assist experience (2 years)
• CVOR First Assist experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• OR First Assist Certification
