Employment Type: Temporary Location: Midland, Michigan Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 12 hours per day

Medical center on a 225-acre wooded campus with 324 beds
Offers primary care, specialty care, 24-hour emergency care, and Level II trauma care

Role Summary

This position performs a variety of integrated pre- and post-operative critical care functions using the nursing process. Core responsibilities include:

Assessing patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs
Organizing and coordinating all aspects of patient care based on real and perceived needs
Evaluating patient progress against the plan of care or clinical path
Consulting and collaborating with the healthcare team to plan and implement total patient care

Required Qualifications

Active, valid Michigan RN license, verifiable through LARA and/or Nursys
2+ years of SICU (Surgical Intensive Care) experience
SICU (Surgical Intensive Care) experience within the last year
Active BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Active ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
