Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in New Brunswick, New Jersey
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Patient ratio: 1:4–5+
  • Floating is required within scope of practice, including to oncology units and other MS/Tele, Stepdown, and IMC floors as needed
  • Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Jersey
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Oncology (2 years of experience)
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ONS/ONCC
  • Surgical Oncology experience
  • Bone Marrow Transplant experience
  • Clinical Trial experience
  • ACLS
  • Chemotherapy certification
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Telemetry skills

Unit / Patient Population

  • Oncology-focused setting
  • May care for general Med/Surg, BMT, clinical trials, surgical oncology, and liquid/solid tumor oncology patients
  • IMC level of care
